Santa Maria Olive Co. is a small family run olive company with a limited six and a half (6.5) acres in production. The ranch hosts Arbequina, Picudo, Koroneiki, Arbosana, Mission, and Manzanillo varietals which have been blended to potentially create some of the best ultra premium extra-virgin olive oil in the region.
The Clayton Ranch’s water source is a sulfer spring well, which is treated with a magnetized water treatment system to meet exacting standards. Santa Maria Olive Co. is USDA Certified Organic for the upcoming 2016 harvest. Santa Maria Olive Co. is currently using chemical free farming procedures to reduce harm to the environment and ecosystems. Santa Maria Olive Co’s full time agronomist utilizes age old traditions and selects only the finest Clayton Ranch estate grown olives to be bottled under their Santa Maria Olive Co. label.
Santa Maria Olive Co.’s first bottling harvest in 2015 met with amazing results. Our Early Harvest Tuscan Blend returned with a low 0.25 Free Fatty Acids (% as oleic acid), the Arbequina returned with a 0.09 Free Fatty Acids (% as oleic acid), and the Late Harvest Special Blend returned with an amazing .06 Free Fatty Acids (% as oleic acid).
